More Than a Website: Designing an AI Guide for Homeowners
Finaya is a homeownership platform that brings buying, selling and financing a home together in one place. We started with the website and, as the collaboration grew, took on product design as well. The most visible part of that work was the design of Finaya's AI chatbot, which we developed on the design side and handed over to Finaya's own development team.
The problem
A Lot of Ground to Cover, for Visitors and Users
A platform that covers buying, selling and financing a home has a lot to explain. Two things have to work from the start: a website that presents the offer clearly and builds trust, and a product experience that helps people find answers without working through every step alone. Finaya needed both, and it needed them to feel like one product rather than a marketing page next to an app.
Our solution
From Web Design to Product Design
We designed the website and then extended the work into the product. The AI chatbot was designed as part of the platform, putting guidance and answers inside the product experience. We delivered the finished design to Finaya’s development team for implementation. Our team handled design; Finaya’s engineers built it.
Result
A Design That Grew With the Company
We delivered the AI chatbot design to Finaya’s development team for implementation. Since then, Finaya has raised Series A funding, grown its team considerably and expanded its network of partners and sub-partners. The collaboration grew from website design into product design as the company developed.
