Overview
A Website Built Around One Action: Book a Demo
Quotation Factory is a cloud-based quoting platform for metalworking companies. Founded in Eindhoven in 2018, it reads CAD files, calculates costs and produces quotes for sheet metal, tube, CNC machining, surface treatment and assembly. Wim Dijkgraaf, founder and CEO, came to us with a clear goal: more inbound inquiries from a website that speaks directly to the different kinds of metalworking companies. Our job covered the design, the tracking setup and the foundation for search and AI search. Quotation Factory's own development team built the site.
The problem
A Website Nobody Could Measure
The existing website gave Quotation Factory no way to learn from its visitors. The cookie banner was not set up correctly, GA4 was not installed and no events were tracked. Nobody could say which pages worked, where visitors dropped off or which channels brought them. The new site also had to do more than describe software. Metalworking companies run very different processes, from laser cutting to CNC machining to surface treatment, and each wants to see that the tool fits its own shop floor. The brief was to make that fit clear quickly, and to make the next step obvious.
Our solution
A Page That Leads From the Problem to a Demo Request
We designed the website and its animations in Figma around the cost of manual quoting and the before-and-after change. A three-step view shows the route from CAD upload to finished quote. Dedicated sections cover sheet metal and laser cutting, tube and profile, CNC machining, surface treatment and assembly, with each path leading to a demo request. We corrected the cookie banner, set up GA4 through Google Tag Manager and prepared the site for SEO/GEO and AI search. After about two weeks of working time, we handed the design to Quotation Factory’s development team, who built it.
Result
Search Engines and AI Assistants Already Send Visitors
Quotation Factory now has a website that is built for search engines and AI search, with working measurement behind it. In GA4, organic search is the largest source of visits: 680 sessions in the 90 days to 13 October 2026. In the same period GA4 attributes 109 sessions to AI assistants, which suggests that tools like ChatGPT already send people to the site. In the PageSpeed test of 14 October 2026, the homepage scores 100 for SEO, accessibility and best practices on desktop and on mobile.
